Places. People. Experiences. A travel magazine for short trips, and for travel that restores.
trevisit is an English language travel magazine for short trips, city breaks and remarkable experiences. Our house formula is simple: one place, three days, and for each day a morning, an afternoon and an evening, each tied to a real place. So far we have written about Málaga, Lisbon, Palma, Hamburg, Stockholm, Vienna, Serra de Tramuntana, Inland Mallorca, Stockholm archipelago, Lofoten Islands and more.
Tree and visit
The name joins two words. Visit is the side of places, people and experiences: cities, rooms, markets, boat trips and walks. Tree is the side of rest: forests and national parks, spa towns and thermal baths, retreats, gentle movement and good sleep. The small tree in our logo has three tiers, one for each of the three days.
What we do not do
trevisit does not sell trips and does not rank businesses. In our articles we name public places such as squares, markets, museums, parks and trails, but no hotels, restaurants or tour companies. Hosts who want to present themselves to our readers can do so in clearly marked formats, explained on our page for hosts.
How we work
Facts, dates and names come from reliable public sources and are checked before publication. Where something changes often, such as opening times or timetables, we say so and ask you to check current details. In the Restore section we write about experience, comfort and enjoyment and make no health promises.
About our images and videos
Many photographs come from licensed photo libraries and show the places named. Images marked “AI generated” were created with an AI image generator and are illustrations of moods and situations, not of specific businesses or people. The short films on our home and section pages were generated with an AI video model from such images and play once, without sound.
