One anchor per half day

The planner starts from the itinerary in each 72 hours guide: three days, each with a morning, an afternoon and an evening, and each slot tied to a real place. The order follows the neighbourhoods, so you are not crossing the city twice. If the weather turns or a museum is closed, move a slot up or down with the arrows and the plan reorganises itself.

Tick a slot when it is done, or write a note into it: the table you booked, the tram stop, the friend you are meeting. Everything stays in your browser on this device, and the print button gives you a clean page for the pocket.

How we would use it

Keep the arrival afternoon light and put the strongest anchor on the second morning, when you know your way around. Leave one evening open on purpose. Places that sell out, such as timed museum entries or a special dinner, are the only things worth booking ahead. The method is explained in our guide to planning three days without rushing them.

Questions

Can I plan a city that is not in the list?

The planner uses the cities of our 72 hours series, because every slot links back to a researched place. You can still use it as a template: pick the city closest in character, then overwrite the notes with your own places. More cities will follow as the series grows.

Where is my plan stored?

Only in your browser, separately for each city. There is no account and nothing is uploaded. If you switch devices or clear your browser data, the plan starts fresh, so print it or copy your notes if you want to keep them.
